School Council Letter

A Letter from the School Council on Behalf of all the Children at Aintree Davenhill

Dear parents,

It has come to our attention that you are parking and driving near our school in ways that are making us feel unsafe and uncomfortable.

We love coming to Aintree Davenhill and enjoy our learning but we need to feel safe at all times.

We would ask you to:

  • Drive slowly and sensibly near our school.

Please don’t drive along the pavements when we are walking along them.

  • Park in an area that doesn’t have double-yellow lines or zig zags.
  • Park in a way that gives enough space for us to be able to walk safely on the pavements.
  • Make sure that you aren’t double-parked.

Other cars can’t drive past if you do this. Some of us have been late for swimming because our bus couldn’t get past all of the parked cars.

We hope that you listen to our advice for the safety of all the children at our school.

Thank you for your co-operation.

The School Council
