As a Registered Charity (No; 701569) we are governed by the rules of the Charity Commission which deems our committee must be elected and minutes must be taken at all our meetings. In previous years we have bought books for the Library, Ipads, out door play equipment and contributed towards the costs of school trips. Our end of year accounts are forwarded to the Charity Commission and as per their regs anyone who would like a copy of these must submit a written request to FoDs and there may be an appropriate charge.
Our constitution states that we can only fund extra resources, projects and initiatives that are of an educational nature and/or linked to the curriculum.
We would also like to invite any other parents who are interested in being involved in helping to contribute to their childs time at school to get in touch either via the school office or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We will be holding various events though out the year and would appeal for assistance from parents who are connected to companies who may be willing to donate prizes or match day funding. All contributions are gratefully received.
