Inter-House Duathlon
Next week, as part of our curriculum and to develop competition within our house teams, your child will be taking part in a small duathlon. Firstly, the children will ride or scoot around the track and then they will then run/walk/jog around the track. Each child will be timed and their times will be recorded to calculate the quickest house team. The teachers have shared a message on ClassDojo to inform you of your child’s event day. All of the children are asked to bring their own roadworthy bike/scooter into school. Reception/Key Stage 1 children’s bikes will be stored in the bike sheds and the large cage, the Key stage 2 children will store their bikes/scooters in cage 1. In order to take part, the children must bring a helmet into school with them to use. If your child doesn’t have a bike or scooter they will still take part.
