Every night: reading and discussion of the book with an adult.

Parental Involvement

We welcome the support of parents both at home and in school and we are always looking for adults to help children in school with their reading. Year 2 is a very important year and we ask that your child reads nightly and that you discuss the book with them. Regularly practising their times tables and number bonds will give your child more confidence in class and it can be fun to look for opportunities for maths outside of school such a measuring ingredients, timing things, looking for shapes and solving logic problems.  We would also love for you to join us in school at our special events.

Children should come into school on P.E. days in their P.E. kit (plain white T-shirt, black shorts/tracksuit trousers and trainers) and do not change back into their uniform. 

Earrings must be removed for all P.E. lessons.
