We aim to provide a caring and stimulating environment where high expectations and effective teaching raise self-esteem and allow every child to achieve their full learning potential.

The Foundation Stage at Aintree Davenhill consists of a Nursery and two Reception classes.  Although Reception is set up as two classes, we work together taking a team approach so your child will interact and learn with children and staff from both classes at various times during the day.  Our aim through this approach is to ensure your child accesses a broad social circle and learns alongside their peers.

The children working in the EYFS follow the Statutory Guidance set out by the Department for Education.  It is this document that sets the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five years old.
