Friends of Davenhill PTA

The Friends of Davenhill (FoDs) is a dedicated group of parents and carers who work together to enhance the school experience for all pupils. As a registered charity (No. 701569), we operate in accordance with the Charity Commission's guidelines, ensuring transparency and accountability in all our activities.

How We Support the School

Over the years, FoDs has funded a range of valuable resources and experiences for the students, including:

  • Books for the school library

  • iPads to support learning

  • Outdoor play equipment

  • Contributions towards school trips

Our constitution ensures that all funds raised go towards extra resources, projects, and initiatives that are of an educational nature and directly linked to the curriculum.

Get Involved

We welcome all parents and carers who would like to contribute to their child’s school experience. Whether you’d like to join the committee, help at events, or support us through fundraising, your involvement is always appreciated. We will be holding various events throughout the year and would be grateful for assistance from parents who have connections to companies that may be willing to donate prizes or provide match funding. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.

Financial Transparency

Our end-of-year accounts are submitted to the Charity Commission, and anyone who wishes to request a copy must submit a written request to FoDs. Please note that there may be an appropriate charge for this.
