Digital Leaders

Our Digital Leaders are a team of enthusiastic Y6 children who help promote the safe, responsible, and creative use of technology throughout our school. They play an important role in supporting both children and staff, acting as positive role models for digital learning.

Digital Leaders help to:

• Support teachers and classmates with technology during lessons.
• Encourage safe and responsible online behaviour.
• Test and explore new apps, devices, and digital tools.
• Share ideas for using technology to enhance learning across the curriculum.
• Help care for school devices and equipment.
• Lead by example, demonstrating kindness, respect, and confidence when using technology.

Being a Digital Leader is a fantastic opportunity for pupils to develop leadership, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while making a positive contribution to school life.

Throughout the year, our Digital Leaders take part in exciting projects, help celebrate events such as Safer Internet Week, and work alongside staff to ensure technology continues to enrich learning for everyone.

Class Digital Champions

Each class has its own Digital Champions—children who are passionate about technology and enjoy helping others to use it confidently. Working alongside our school Digital Leaders, they provide valuable support within their own classrooms and help make digital learning a success every day.

Our Class Digital Champions:

• Support their classmates with using laptops, tablets, and other digital devices.
• Help solve simple technical problems during lessons.
• Encourage safe, responsible, and respectful use of technology.
• Demonstrate positive digital learning behaviours and lead by example.
• Assist teachers with preparing and organising digital resources.
• Share new ideas and celebrate creative uses of technology in the classroom.

Being a Class Digital Champion helps children develop confidence, leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while making a positive contribution to their class community.

Our Class Digital Champions play an important role in creating a supportive learning environment where everyone can develop their digital skills and use technology safely, responsibly, and creatively.
