Arrangements for school closure Friday 20th March 3:20pm
It is expected that school will be closed for all children apart from those in vulnerable categories and those of key workers. Children will continue to receive work to support their education at home during normal term time. This will be in the form of a pack which the children will be expected to work through. In addition, you will have details of online learning resources that the children can access.
The teachers are intending to use Class Dojo to remain in contact with families. They will be able to suggest additional activities and challenges for your children. For this system to be manageable for staff, who may be in difficult circumstances, we would ask you to limit any direct contact via Dojo.
The usual forms of communication will remain open as long as possible i.e. ParentMail, Facebook, the school website and admin email.
If your child is entitled to (means tested) free school meals and you would require support with lunchtime meals, please contact the school office. Arrangements about what we can offer at this time are unclear, but we will contact those families who have expressed concern as soon as possible. For your information, the Hope Centre foodbank will continue to operate as long as feasible.
We hope that all our families stay healthy and active and look forward to seeing everyone back in school as soon as possible.
Mrs. G.A. Kelley
