This club takes place currently on a Wednesday after school, with Lower KS2 children and runs for seven weeks.
In the first two weeks of club we will be learning about nutrition, where food comes from including food labels, the safe and hygienic storage, preparation and cooking of food, health and safety practices before we begin food activities, so we will not be baking during these two weeks.
From week three, the children will be either eating the food they make during club or taking it home to enjoy with their family. We will be designing, making, and tasting different types of food, including fruit salad, fruit kebabs, scones, and pizzas.
Due to the nature of the club, spaces are limited.
