I am sorry that we went through the upheaval of returning children to school today, only to hear that schools will be closed from tomorrow.
School will be closed to all children tomorrow to allow us to get ready for online teaching from Wednesday. All staff will use tomorrow to set up resources, establish how many key worker/vulnerable children we can accommodate and to sort out free school meals for those eligible.
Please bear with us tomorrow and we will contact you by the end of the day with further details. Unlike during the first lockdown, teachers will all be teaching online so we ask that, if your child can work from home, you do not request a key worker place.

COVID UPDATE 03.01.21
Like us, you may have been watching the latest news regarding schools re-opening this term. A number of unions have advised their members that it is not safe to return to school.
Sefton is currently in Tier 3 and has informed us today that, at this point in time,Primary Schools, Special and alternative provision schools will re-open as planned on 4th January.
Sefton LEA will meet with headteachers tomorrow and have assured us that they will keep the local position under constant review.
School will re-open tomorrow and senior leaders will meet first thing to ensure that risk assessments take account of the changing situation.
Please be reassured that we will do everything possible to keep our school community safe.
