Monday 20th - Friday 24th June

Theme Week

‘The Best Things In Life Are Free’

Monday 20th - Picnic on the Field
Reception to Year 6 will be having a picnic on the field at lunchtime. All children need to bring in a packed lunch unless you have returned a reply slip (no cans or bottles please). No other meals will be available on that day.

Wednesday 22nd - The British Heart Foundation - Jump Rope

Year 1-6 children will be taking part in a skipping session to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. The aim of each session is to encourage children to be more active and have fun whilst raising money for the British Heart Foundation’s life saving work. Children can come to school in their P.E kit so they are ready to take part in their session and we would greatly appreciate it if you could provide your child with a small donation that they can give to the school’s British Heart Foundation fund on that day.

Wednesday 22 - Party in the Park - 5 pm-7 pm
Bring along your picnic and enjoy performances from KS1 and KS2 choirs, Merseyside Police Band and Miss Murray’s dance club. Gates open at 4:30 pm for a 5 pm start.
We want families to come back to school with a picnic, picnic blankets and chairs and enjoy time together on the school field. All clubs will be cancelled on this day except art club, Mrs Ward’s junior dance and Helen O’Grady. Please collect children from these clubs from the main entrance.
Please be aware this outdoor event maybe cancelled in adverse weather conditions. Free tickets are available from the school office.

Friday 24 - Scooters/Bikes

Children can bring their bike or scooter to school  (they must have a helmet) and enjoy a cycling session. KS2 children should  store their bikes in the cages at the beginning of the school day.  EYFS & KS1 children can store theirs in the bike sheds.
